Environmental Economics and Management

What is environmental economics? A student stands in a confident pose in front of a municipal building, ready to answer.

What are environmental economics? It’s a common question!

Businesses are increasingly challenged to become environmentally sustainable and socially responsive organizations that can be effective partners in solving major environmental and societal challenges. The environmental economics and management major is focused on how to achieve the twin goals of environmental sustainability and business success.

The environmental economics and management major includes an integrated study of environmental and natural resource economics, core business disciplines and a capstone course in corporate environmental management.
