Economic Geography

An economic geography professor sits on a table and gives a lecture to a classroom full of economics students.

Economic geography is a comprehensive program for students interested in the roles of space, place, location, scale, key agents and forces in the economic sphere. It prepares students for the spatial aspects of economic activity in which companies explore optimum locations for headquarters and stores based on various criteria; governments and nongovernment organizations seek to analyze distribution of poverty; and goods, capital, labor, raw materials and information all move from one place to another.
