Applied Engineering Sciences

Groups of applied engineering students — many of them wearing Spartan gear — sit at study tables, deep in conversation.

Interested in an applied engineering degree?

Applied engineering sciences are the intersection of engineering and business. In addition to science and math, applied engineering students study a broad set of courses spanning engineering disciplines and business courses that develop a strong systems viewpoint for understanding the interplay between engineering and the business world.

This applied engineering program focuses on systems understanding, strong oral and written communication skills, and effective professional teamwork. Students choose a concentration in supply chain management, packaging, technical sales, computer science, business law or telecommunications.
